Therapy for Meaningful and Lasting Change

Life can become overwhelming in ways that are not always obvious from the outside. You may be managing work responsibilities, relationships, family obligations, major life changes, or the ongoing pressure to keep everything together. At times, what once felt manageable can begin to feel exhausting.

Many people seek therapy when they are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, or a growing sense that something in life is no longer working the way it once did. Others come to therapy because they want a deeper understanding of themselves, healthier relationships, or greater clarity about the direction they want their lives to take.

Therapy provides a space to slow down, better understand what you're experiencing, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful and lasting change.

How I can help

I work with adults facing a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry

  • Depression and low motivation

  • Stress and burnout

  • Life transitions

  • Relationship challenges

  • Men’s mental health concerns

While I work with adults from many different backgrounds, my practice has developed particular expertise in two areas: men's mental health and athlete mental health.

Athletes, coaches, and members of the sport community face unique pressures that can impact mental health both within and beyond sport.

I work with:

  • Current athletes

  • Former athletes

  • Identity and self-esteem concerns

  • Grief and loss

  • Fatherhood and parenting stress

  • Athlete mental health concerns

  • Performance pressure

  • Retirement from sport

  • Coaches

  • Members of the sport community

Common concerns include:

  • Performance pressure

  • Injury recovery

  • Burnout

  • Anxiety and depression

Many men spend years carrying responsibilities, solving problems, and focusing on the needs of others. Over time, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and emotional exhaustion can begin to take a toll.

I work with men navigating:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Burnout

  • Relationships

  • Fatherhood

  • Identity concerns

  • Retirement from sport

  • Major life transitions

  • Identity concerns

  • Life transitions

  • Questions of purpose and meaning

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. Every person brings a unique set of experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals, which is why I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

My work is grounded in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and psychodynamic theory.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in genuine human connection. Therapy is not about becoming a different person. It is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthening relationships, building resilience, and creating meaningful change that aligns with the life you want to build.
